raleen + jay: fireside winter wedding.

a fireside wedding in the middle of winter; raleen + jay’s wedding totally has our hearts. it was right up our alley and we had the BEST time. they are so genuine and we love that they recognized how weddings are for having the people you love most around and enjoying your day… no matter the temperature, no matter the weather.

krista + gerard: one year anniversary.

we love repeat clients. after photographing krista + gerards wedding last year, we were totally on board to head back out to lourdes and celebrate their one year anniversary with them. the moral of the story: krista + gerard are totally worth the 4 hours of driving, and newfoundland is a crazy beautiful place anywhere you go on this island.

erika + chris: bottle cove wedding.

the JP that delivered this ceremony said it best: these two don’t just love each other, they also really LIKE each other too. and as funny as that sounds it’s totally true. they’re as much best friends as they are husband and wife – and that’s how it should be.

ledon + trevor: grand falls theatre wedding.

we apologize for the radio silence. the truth is, we’ve been at weddings. and working our tails off. we’ve even gotten married too. to the two 27″ iMac’s that we eat sleep and breathe at. (aren’t I funny? no?) seriously though, this year should be named The Year With All The Weddings. Or, if you’re into even more lengthy titles: The Year With All The Amazing Weddings: Such As This Couple Who Got Married In a Movie Theater While Their Guests Ate Popcorn. and the bride looked like a mermaid, and the groom looked like he walked off the set…

sarah + brad: bottle cove engagement.

it’s rare for us to get to spend so much time with a couple and really explore the surrounding area, so this in itself was wonderful. that – and these two are two of the most down to earth, kind, and considerate (especially to each other!) people there are out there. sarah & brad, thanks again! you are amazing.

emily + oliver: codroy valley wedding.

newfoundland is amazing. shoot a wedding in codroy valley, breath-taking. drive ten minutes to the wreckhouse area, looks completely different. (so epic). wait ten minutes, and it looks like the weather has completely changed. (thats newfoundland for you). and we love it. and all of the people we met at this wedding – oliver and emily especially. and ross – dru says to not forget ross. he’s still talking about that beard!

jordan + amy: gros morne elopement.

these two are great friends. they fed us breakfast, they dressed up to the 9’s, we drove to Gros Morne, and Dru and I were the witnesses to the most moving, personal, and down-to-earth ceremony imaginable. thank you both to the moon and back for including us in this! you guys are incredible.

leanne + taylor: moncton wedding.

wedding’s always move me, I’ll admit that from the get go. but this one was different… and i’ve never had a harder – and at the same time, easier – time holding up my camera and finding the emotion we always aim to capture. (harder only because I was crying my face off. I think I even startled dru. multiple times.) why? because what we were capturing this time has been near and dear to me for almost ten years. WHAT. leanne and I have been friends since junior high and she has a personality that’s one in a billion….
