nat + jenelle: rainy in st. johns.
we still can’t get over this day. we headed to the east coast for this wedding, and these women took rain or shine to a whole new level… 200mm of water later, a few camera repairs, and we’d STILL do it all over again. thanks for being amazing, beauties. we’re so lucky in this life to come across people like you.
adam + danielle: little bay islands.
so, we’re going a little off book here, but we couldn’t help ourselves. this session was shot the week after Adam and Danielle’s wedding on the beautiful Little Bay Island – or more affectionally amongst the locals, LBI. its not often we get to see couples after the wedding when things have slowed considerably, so it was an honor to be invited out to shoot a few photos for Danielle in a place her family has such a history with. the fact that we were taken on a sea-kayak trip to see the icebergs, shown the family home that had originally…
meagan + nim: west coast wedding preview.
these guys… we don’t even know where to start. not only did meagan pull up to the ceremony with the Harry Potter theme song BLARING (yes, our hearts grew three sizes) but it was the biggest, most genuine celebration all day long. oh, and it was totally the best dance party the Humber Valley dance floor has ever seen. all the love, you two. your wedding went down in the books.
krista + gerard: one year anniversary.
we love repeat clients. after photographing krista + gerards wedding last year, we were totally on board to head back out to lourdes and celebrate their one year anniversary with them. the moral of the story: krista + gerard are totally worth the 4 hours of driving, and newfoundland is a crazy beautiful place anywhere you go on this island.
ledon + trevor: grand falls theatre wedding.
we apologize for the radio silence. the truth is, we’ve been at weddings. and working our tails off. we’ve even gotten married too. to the two 27″ iMac’s that we eat sleep and breathe at. (aren’t I funny? no?) seriously though, this year should be named The Year With All The Weddings. Or, if you’re into even more lengthy titles: The Year With All The Amazing Weddings: Such As This Couple Who Got Married In a Movie Theater While Their Guests Ate Popcorn. and the bride looked like a mermaid, and the groom looked like he walked off the set…
emily + oliver: codroy valley wedding.
newfoundland is amazing. shoot a wedding in codroy valley, breath-taking. drive ten minutes to the wreckhouse area, looks completely different. (so epic). wait ten minutes, and it looks like the weather has completely changed. (thats newfoundland for you). and we love it. and all of the people we met at this wedding – oliver and emily especially. and ross – dru says to not forget ross. he’s still talking about that beard!
jordan + amy: gros morne elopement.
these two are great friends. they fed us breakfast, they dressed up to the 9’s, we drove to Gros Morne, and Dru and I were the witnesses to the most moving, personal, and down-to-earth ceremony imaginable. thank you both to the moon and back for including us in this! you guys are incredible.
